Now, to test it out, I closed the door, entered my PIN code, and pressed enter. I saw the LED light up, entered my PIN code again, and pressed the enter button. Then I pressed and released the zero button and pressed the learn button on the garage door opener. I pressed and held the buttons until the blinking stopped, entered a four digit PIN code, pressed the pound key, and pressed the enter button the number of times it corresponds to the opener type (in my case, three). Now, to configure it to work with my particular LiftMaster opener, I followed the instructions. Then I put a second screw into a little hook on the back. All I did was open the battery door and put one screw in. Look at the color of the learn button on your particular LiftMaster and note it. To synchronize it with your particular LiftMaster, follow the instructions on the back. You can install this on the outside of your house so that people can enter a code to get into your garage.
